Responsibilities


Comprehending the client's demands and specifications and successfully conveying them to the production teams along with their quality standards.
Devising ways to improve the manufacturing process to ensure higher-quality goods.
Devising, improving, and reviewing new specifications and procedures for products or processes.
Setting the requirements for raw materials from suppliers and monitoring their compliance.
Overseeing product development procedures to identify any deviations from quality standards.
Inspecting the final output, comparing it to the requirements, and approving or rejecting the final products.
Keeping accurate documentation and performing statistical analysis.


Requirements


Certification in the following - ICCON, NACE(A MUST)
Good knowledge of quality assurance /control measures
BSc / HND in Chemistry or a related course of study
3-5 years of proven experience as a researcher, development chemist.
Good understanding of safety procedures in the Laboratory
Proficient in the use of Microsoft office tools.
Experience in the Paint industry / research and development is an added advantage.
Proven knowledge of standard operating procedures in a chemistry laboratory
Good understanding of procedures, quality standards and various products specification
Proven knowledge of various testing methods to confirm and measure different types of products and materials for quality purposes.
