Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Control/General Operations Manager at our Ekiti facility. The Quality Control/General Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the quality of products and services, ensuring that they meet the standards and requirements of NAFDAC, SON etc. He/She will also work closely/monitor the production teams, and technical staff to ensure that quality assurance and control processes are properly implemented throughout the manufacturing and production process.
Job Responsibilities
Developing, Reviewing and documenting of Quality documents such as Quality Manual, SOPs, and BMRs of products.
Operational knowledge on critical production equipments.
Maintain and update quality control trending data base.
Chemical and physical analysis of raw materials, intermediate and finished products.
Ensure good production unit practices.
In-process Quality control of production process from dispensing operations of materials, processing and packaging of finished products according to cGMP and Company's standard specifications.
Assist product quality investigations and support follow up on established action to address product quality compliance issues.
Ensure relevant quality systems are updated with all required information and action on a timely basis.
Support audits and inspections to ensure compliance with activities for GMP/GDP.
Oversee the entire production unit/facility.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry or other related discipline
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or production industry
Strong knowledge of quality control and quality assurance principles, methodologies, and techniques
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proven industry experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues, and to recommend process improvements
Ability to adhere to and enforce established policies and procedures
Experience with quality control software and tools is an added advantage
Meticulous attention to detail
Ability to work with or without supervision
Prior leadership role in a manufacturing outfit.
