About the role:
The Research and Advisory (Creme) Intern will support business development and VOICE activities for the Ethics Agenda. The intern will review past concept notes, analyze recent discussions with partners, and synthesize current literature to develop concept notes that align with our strategic goals. This role aims to fast-track business development objectives for the Ethics Agenda and operationalize insights from previous discussions with stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities: Interns will work closely with Project leads in completing the tasks assigned below, but may be asked to contribute to Busara’s work in various other ways:
Catalog lessons learned from past ethics initiatives
Review and distill key points from recent discussions with partners
Develop a database of funder priorities, interests, and suggestions to inform concept note development
Conduct a thorough review of the current literature on ethical research practices, identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities to enhance current concept notes
Draft new concept notes based on synthesized information from document reviews, partner discussions, and literature
Engage in internal projects, if needed
Perform any other duty as may be assigned by the project supervisor
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: Minimum Requirements
Students in their final semester in masters/undergraduate programs.
