Responsibilities
With a full understanding of the company's value proposition, draft the ideal customer profile and map out the market size
Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans to acquire customers, drive revenue growth, and meet sales targets
Identify, research, and qualify potential leads to turn them into closed sales
Engage with qualified leads to understand their needs and pain points
Establish and maintain effective relationships with key industry contacts
Assist in setting sales targets in alignment with business goals and revenue targets
Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to all team members to develop their selling skills, overcome challenges, and close affiliate sales
Analyze sales metrics and performance data to make informed decisions, optimize strategies, and drive continuous improvement
Offering insight and ideas to stakeholders concerning the sales process and product usage
Collaborating with the marketing team and other cross-functional teams to design sales and marketing materials, and implement sales strategies
Stay updated on market trends, competitors activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities
Present sales, revenue reports, and realistic forecasts to the management team
We're looking at someone who has
Minimum of 5 experience leading sales and client relationship teams
Experience within the B2B SAAS, Payment, Payroll, HR space is a plus familiarity with effective sales strategies
Inspirational attitude and ability to create a motivating environment
Ability to train others effectively
Familiarity with sales tools is a plus
Demonstrated track record of B2B sales in a high-performing environment at a senior level
Must reside in Lagos and be willing to attend physical customer meetings any day of the week
