Responsibilities
Overseeing regional sales, promotions, and campaigns
Planning and directing the training of new Sales Representatives
Directing and coordinating all sales activities
Preparing sales budgets and projections
Tracking and analyzing sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics
Handling and resolving customer complaints
Setting discount rates and determining price schedules
Advising distributors and dealers on policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Making data-informed decisions to drive performance and resource allocation
Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients
Setting sales quotas and goals
Overseeing and directing the performance of the sales team
Identifying emerging markets to find new sales opportunities
Requirements
Proven experience as a sales manager (in a food production company)
BA./BSc in any discipline
At least 3 years experience in a similar role
Leadership ability
Open to traveling outside Lagos when necessary
Computer literacy
Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Good team player
Good interpersonal and people management skills and negotiating skills
Strong sense of professionalism, integrity, sound judgment
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Collaborate with the stores account officer/contact person to raise new orders and follow up with payments
Monitor Sales Activities of all products during visitation to a stores
