An exciting position has arisen for an immediate start for a scriptwriter/storyteller to assume the role of chief writer at BantuPage.
The ideal candidate must write in faultless, standard English. Your English must be top-notch and standardized to either British or American English.
You will write scripts for documentaries, short films, social media posts, websites, etc. It would help if you were someone who could come up with creative ideas to flourish our website with articles and also be innovative enough to feed our cast with content for our YouTube channel and other platforms.
You must possess extensive experience and meet all the necessary requirements for this position. You will undergo a week's trial to determine suitability. There will be a phone interview, which will determine the next step.
Work Hours and Arrangement:
09:00 a.m.–5 p.m., Monday through Friday
Hybrid: three days of office attendance and two days of remote.
Remote is at the company's discretion; it is not a right.
Duties and Responsibilities
Write and rewrite scripts if necessary (you may need to do this several times before arriving at the final agreed-upon version).
Developing believable plots and characters.
Getting feedback about the first draft of your work from the management or other staff members
Researching background material
Laying out the screenplay to an agreed format
Coming up with themes and ideas
Preparing short summaries of your ideas and selling (known as 'pitching') them to producers or development executives
Write scripts for content as determined by the company.

A Bachelor's Degree
1 year work experience.
