Job Description
We are seeking to hire a Senior Sales Specialist with at least 5 years of experience in the Truck Spare-Parts Division.
As the Sales Specialist, you will drive strategic sales efforts, generate significant revenue and expand the Business Portfolio under the Truck Parts Division.
You should have a track record of efficiently matching supply and demand efforts especially in the Truck auto-parts businesses, automotive industries, and/or marketplace startups across Nigeria or/and Africa.
As the ideal candidate, you should have a track record of securing high-value transactions with corporate organizations and dealers, along with extensive experience in managing and expanding the customer network within the Truck Spare-Parts Division.
Job Responsibilities
A typical day on the job will involve:
Sales Development:
Generating constant and valuable demand to match growing supply.
Develop comprehensive sales strategies tailored to our aftermarket products segment.
Identify potential markets and customer segments within the territory to maximize sales opportunities.
Business Development and Expansion:
Identify new business opportunities within the Truck Parts Division.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with importers, distributors, and key stakeholders.
Proactively seek out and establish strategic partnerships to drive sales growth and increase market penetration.
Portfolio Management:
Source and manage business portfolios under the Truck Parts Division.
Develop and execute strategies to enhance product performance and meet business objectives.
Propose increase and expansion of the selection of products within the division based on market trends and customer demand.
Collaborate with Reporting Line to plan and implement business strategies aimed at maximizing revenue growth.
Sales Process Optimization:
Establish and maintain efficient sales processes, including pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting.
Implement tools and technologies to streamline sales operations and improve productivity.
Continuously monitor and evaluate sales processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
Technology Use & Onboarding:
Lead the onboarding process for new customers, assisting them in downloading, installing, and setting up the mobile application on their devices.
Ensure that the onboarding experience is smooth and efficient, addressing any initial questions or concerns customers may have.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree required. A Master's degree in Business Administration or a similar field is an added advantage.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in strategic sales and business development.
At least 5 years of experience in sales in the Truck Parts Division.
Experience in aftermarket product sales/Procurement/Automotive aftersales is an added advantage.
Strong interpersonal skills to cultivate and maintain relationships with importers, distributors, and other key stakeholders.
Efficiency with sales tools like: Salesforce, Google Sheet, Slack, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ERP etc.
