Job Summary

The Strategy Associate is a mid-level managerial role within the Strategy and corporate finance tribe.
This position plays a crucial role in contributing to the development and execution of the company's overall strategic initiatives.
The Strategy Associate will work closely with senior management to analyze market trends, assess business opportunities, and formulate strategies to enhance the organization's competitiveness.

Responsibilities
Market Analysis and Planning:

Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscapes, and potential opportunities.
Utilize market intelligence to inform strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights to inform strategic decision-making.
Assist in the formulation and implementation of short-term and long-term strategic plans.

Business Development:

Evaluate potential business opportunities, partnerships, and investments.
Provide recommendations for new market entry, product development, and expansion strategies.
Support the development of business cases and financial models to assess the feasibility and potential impact of strategic initiatives.

Business Development and Growth:

Assist the squad lead to identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop business cases and financial models for strategic initiatives.

Performance Monitoring and Evaluation:

Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of strategic initiatives.
Implement systems for tracking and reporting on the performance of the company against strategic objectives.
Provide regular updates to the squad lead on the progress and impact of strategic initiatives.

Team Leadership and Development:

Coordinate squad members alongside the squad lead to build, lead and mentor a high-performing strategy team.
Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
Develop professional development plans for team members and provide opportunities for skill enhancement.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for strategic initiatives.
Build and maintain relationships with key industry partners, government agencies, and other relevant entities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Master's/ MBA degree preferred.
3+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, or a related field.
Proven track record of successfully contributing to the development and execution of strategic initiatives.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience leading a team, mentoring, and guiding junior analysts. 
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.
