Job Description
The Talent Placement Officer will be responsible for facilitating job placements for graduates of SAIL Innovation Lab's various training programmes. This role involves working closely with participants to understand their career goals, preparing them for the job market, and liaising with employers to create employment opportunities. The ideal candidate will be passionate about career development, have a strong network of industry contacts, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Career Support and Guidance:

Conduct career counseling sessions to understand participants' career aspirations and provide personalized advice.
Assist participants in developing career action plans and setting realistic job search goals.
Organize and conduct workshops on CV writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies.

Job Placement Activities:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers to facilitate job placements and internship opportunities.
Match programme participants with suitable job opportunities based on their skills, experience, and career goals.
Coordinate and host job fairs, career days, and networking events to connect participants with potential employers.

Partnership and Network Development:

Build and maintain a database of employer contacts and job opportunities.
Cultivate relationships with industry professionals, recruitment agencies, and other relevant organizations to expand job placement opportunities.

Programme Improvement:

Collect and analyze feedback from participants and employers to assess the effectiveness of the placement services.
Work with the Programme Manager to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance the job placement process.

Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of all placement activities and outcomes.
Prepare regular reports on job placement metrics and programme success stories.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in career services, talent acquisition, human resources, or a related field.
Proven track record in job placement, recruitment, or career counseling
