Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a meticulous and proactive Technical/Operations Manager to supervise our office's daily functions, guarantee flawless project execution, and bolster our technical and commercial divisions. This role is pivotal in enhancing operational productivity, fulfilling client orders, and upholding superior service standards.

Primary Duties


Operational Oversight: Coordinate daily office tasks to ensure optimal workflow and effectiveness.
Stock Control: Perform routine inventory checks, regulate stock levels, and maintain consistency between digital records and physical inventory.
Installation Oversight: Conduct frequent site visits to monitor installations and verify adherence to quality and safety protocols.
Revenue Support: Contribute to deal closures by following through on prospects and clients introduced by the sales division; promote additional products to current and walk-in customers.
Client Relations: Deliver pre- and post-sale technical assistance to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
Corporate Representation: Act as a company ambassador at conferences, public gatherings, trade shows, and client presentations.
Collaborative Engagement: Effectively coordinate with external installers, suppliers, auditors, regulatory bodies, and board members to ensure smooth operations.
Continuous Improvement: Offer data-backed insights and suggestions to leadership to refine business processes and surpass growth objectives.


Required Qualifications and Competencies


Bachelor's degree/HND or comparable experience in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
At least 2 years of experience in a technical, operational, or supervisory capacity, ideally in the solar energy or technical services sector.
Robust organizational, analytical, and problem-resolution abilities.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated proficiency in inventory and project management.
Capability to work autonomously and take initiative.
Mastery of Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with inventory or ERP platforms is advantageous.
Current driver's license and willingness to travel to project locations.
