Extensive knowledge and experience in technical photography and videography. Professional ability to shoot journalism and marketing-type still photos and videos.
Demonstrated ability with professional cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
Must have excellent communication skills.
Must be an active listener with the ability to be a team player and interact with a dynamic creative team including marketing directors, creative directors, graphic designers, print production directors, shoot coordinators, and assistants.
Able to interact professionally with a wide variety of photography subjects,. Able to work well with diverse populations; knowledgeable or willing to learn about issues such as optimal photography for diverse skin tones.
Able to take direction and produce requested work reliably.
Must have the ability to work well under pressure, calmly, multi-task, and manage a schedule to meet deadlines.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions and under challenging situations.
Must be detail-oriented, including the ability to ensure all necessary paperwork and precautions have been taken related to privacy, releases, etc. Must maintain all files according to required storage and documentation procedures.
Must be flexible to work some evenings, early mornings, and the occasional weekend.
Must be able to work independently.
Must act in a professional manner and be receptive to feedback and constructive criticism.
Willingness to travel to location sites around the country is a must.
Experience working with a traffic system is desired.
Experience working with a photo archiving system is preferred.
Must have experience working on all systems.
Familiarity with flying drones is highly desired.
Having a working knowledge of how to prepare imagery for traditional print production is desired.
Commitment to continually growing skills and adapting to new technologies as needed.
