Responsibilities
Oversee all warehouse operations to ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for efficient and safe product handling.
Implement and conduct periodic physical inventory verifications to maintain accurate stock records.
Manage the timely receipt and dispatch of goods, ensuring efficient inbound and outbound logistics.
Maintain optimal stock levels to meet production and sales demands.
Coordinate the loading of trucks according to sales orders, ensuring correct product selection and minimizing damage.
Implement procedures to minimize stock breakage and product loss during storage and handling.
Process necessary entries in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for accurate inventory control.
Supervise warehouse staff, including drivers and loaders, to ensure efficient task completion.
Utilize analytical problem-solving skills to identify and resolve operational bottlenecks within the warehouse.
Requirements
Minimum of HND or equivalent qualification in a related field (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Logistics).
Minimum of 5 years of total experience with at least 3 years in a similar warehouse management role within the Building Materials Industry, preferably the Tiles Industry.
Proven ability to ensure adherence to SOPs and maintain accurate inventory records.
Strong understanding of warehouse logistics and best practices for efficient product handling.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate a team.
Proficiency in warehouse management software and ERP systems is a plus.
