Company Driver in Lagos

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Company Driver

Location: Lagos 
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

• You are responsible for providing safe, reliable, and timely transportation services for staff, guests, and official goods.
• The role includes vehicle maintenance, compliance with traffic laws, and ensuring the company’s logistics and mobility operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
Transportation Duties:

• Safely drive company staff and guests to and from designated locations as instructed.
• Ensure punctual pick-up and drop-off for all official trips.
• Deliver official documents, materials, or parcels as directed.

Vehicle Maintenance:

• Conduct daily vehicle inspection (fuel, oil, water, battery, brakes, tires, lights, etc.) before use.
• Keep vehicles clean, both inside and out, at all times.
• Report any mechanical faults, damages, or service needs to the Admin/Operations unit promptly.
• Ensure timely servicing and maintenance of assigned vehicles.

Compliance & Safety:

• Observe all traffic laws, speed limits, and company driving policies.
• Maintain valid driver’s license, vehicle documents, and safety compliance.
• Avoid misuse of company vehicles or engagement in unauthorized trips.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain an accurate vehicle logbook for all trips, mileage, and fuel usage.
• Record any incidents or accidents immediately and report to management.
• Support documentation and filing of vehicle records as required.

Support Functions:

• Assist with general logistics support such as airport runs, meeting pickups, and event coordination.
• Provide basic administrative or errand support when required.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of SSCE / WAEC Certificate.
• Minimum of 5 years of driving experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Excellent knowledge of Lagos roads (or relevant city of operation).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.
• Punctual, reliable, and of high personal integrity
