We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Internal Auditor

Location: Yola, Adamawa
Employment Type: Full-time

Operational Duties
Financial Audits:

  • Review daily sales reports from F&B, Front Office, and other revenue outlets.
  • Verify cash deposits, credit card settlements, and reconciliations.
  • Audit purchasing, storekeeping, and payroll records.

Operational Audits:

  • Monitor adherence to SOPs in departments (Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping).
  • Check stock movement against requisitions and usage.
  • Audit compliance with Nigerian labor, tax, and hospitality regulations.

Internal Controls:

  • Identify risks (fraud, errors, inefficiencies) and recommend preventive measures.
  • Ensure segregation of duties (e.g., cashier vs. accounts reconciliation).
  • Test compliance with approval limits and procurement procedures.

Reporting:

  • Submit daily audit observations to GM.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly audit reports for hotel owners/board.
  • Highlight anomalies and recommend corrective action.

Requirements

  • Interested candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 4 years work experience.
