Senior Credit Analyst in Marina, Lagos

GTI Microfinance Limited was incorporated in August 2007 as a limited liability company and started its operations in 2008 at No. 127 Obafemi Awolowo Road, Ikeja.

In October 2013, it was licensed as a State Wide Microfinance Bank and moved its Head Office to No. 4 Tinubu Street, Central Business District, Marina Lagos. Other branches are located at Mushin, Abattoir in Agege, Surulere and Arena.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Credit Analyst

Location: Marina, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough credit appraisals of loan applications, including analysis of financial statements, cash flow, repayment capacity, and collateral.
• Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations for management or credit committee approval.
• Ensure all credit proposals comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements (CBNguidelines).
• Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signals of potential default.
• Recommend restructuring, remedial actions, or recovery strategies for non-performing loans.
• Support the Head of Credit in implementing effective risk management practices.
• Review and update credit risk assessment models and scoring criteria.
• Provide mentorship and technical support to junior credit officers.
• Liaise with account officers, business development teams, and other departments to ensure sound credit decisions.
• Participate in credit committee meetings and contribute to policy formulation.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor's Degree with 3 - 6 years of experience.
