Job Description

  • We are seeking an innovative and driven business development manager to lead our efforts in enhancing brand visibility and driving growth in the UAE and Nigeria, while also expanding our presence across Africa.
  • As a vital member of our management team, you will oversee all aspects of our creative and business initiatives, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Management: Direct and inspire a diverse team of employees to foster a creative and productive work environment. Ensure all team members are aligned with the company’s vision and objectives related to visibility and sales growth.
  • Brand Development: Champion the IDA Beauty brand, ensuring that it resonates well within the UAE, Nigeria, and other African markets. Develop and implement effective strategies for brand positioning and recognition.
  • Marketing Strategy: Design and execute innovative web and online marketing strategies, including B2B outreach and social networking initiatives, to enhance our online presence and engage with potential customers. 
  • Influencer Collaborations: Identify and partner with key influencers within the beauty sector to promote IDA Beauty through strategic campaigns and social media initiatives, amplifying brand reach and engagement.
  • Sales Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of income and outgoing sales, ensuring accountability and efficiency in distributing products and services across multiple regions.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage accounting functions related to marketing expenditures and sales revenues, ensuring all records are up-to-date and compliant with company policies.
  • Operational Safety: Ensure that all company operations adhere to safety standards and best practices, taking responsibility for risk management and compliance.
  • Expansion Initiatives: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for growth and scalability across different African countries, tailoring strategies to local markets.
  • Maintain company health and safety standards.
  • Manages all union personnel and handles any and all issues relating to production concerns, HR issues, rates, In addition, serves as backup to the production coordinator when required.
  • Manage all logistics connected to all third party website remote productions for organizational needs by working closely with our talent employee.
  • Manage all budgetary issues in relation to production.
  • Oversees projects within assigned show units
  • Provides objective feedback and coaching on performance to staff and freelance personnel and shares feedback as required
  • Directly manages other production coordinators and responsible for the handling and trafficking of sensitive information (budgetary, fee-related).
  • Supervises the safe and efficient conduct of company operations.
  • Develops and leads a team of employees.
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans with all key accounts.
  • Play a lead role on carrying through cross functional projects and initiatives.
  • Structure and provide financial modelling to enable business decisions to be take
  • Conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational, and related research to support strategic and business decisions.
  • Provide regular reporting on achievement of business objectives and KPIs
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe personal environment and acting in a safe manner with full support for complying with the company's health, safety and environment mandates
  • Upload photos to platform and tag photos / files
  • Collect architectural sets and millwork from the store design department
  • Collect data across multiple departments through key stakeholder follow up and/or asset analytics.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience preferably in a customer focused environment
  • Demonstrate superior leadership, organizational and time management skills
  • Able to collaborate and function as a member of a team
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in a cosmetic trading environment. This is to include successful marketing, product management, selling, project management and new business development
  • Strong analytical thinker with core market analysis skills and ability to view problems strategically
  • Experience in targeting, converting and winning new business and/or new territories
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the e-commerce or cosmetics industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media dynamics, and consumer engagement principles.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Creative thinker with a data-driven approach to business strategy.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with financial management and accounting practices
  • Qualifications for production manager
  • Work closely with legal to ensure relevant clearance process is adhered to on all production
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with talent, artists, managements, agents and any other representatives of the team together with all production personnel throughout the production process and beyond
  • Analyse production budgets across all genres (feature film, documentaries, live events and TV productions, advertisement) to review cost reports and interrogate any variances
  • Negotiate the best rates throughout a production with all third party suppliers and freelancers
  • Review post production schedules, ensuring deadlines are closely social media manager, photographic, videographic, sales person closely and collaboratively with Marketing and PR, ensuring assets are filmed in good time and delivered fit for purpose.

Salary
N300,000 - N350,000 Monthly.
