Job Title: Female Sales Executive

Location: Lagos

Work Schedule: Monday – Sunday (with scheduled off-days)

Job Objective

  • To provide exceptional customer service and deliver excellent in-store sales performance through expert product knowledge, personalized engagement, and consistent adherence to Montaigne Limited’s luxury brand standards.
  • The Sales Executive will serve as a brand ambassador ensuring every client enjoys a memorable, premium retail experience that reflects the prestige of Montaigne’s world-class beauty and lifestyle brands.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Experience:

  • Engage customers with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring a luxury service experience at all times.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through effective product recommendation and upselling techniques.
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of Montaigne’s product range including fragrances, skincare, cosmetics, and luxury accessories.
  • Assist customers in selecting products that suit their needs, preferences, and lifestyles.
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with clients through follow-ups, personalized service, and product education.

Store Operations & Merchandising:

  • Maintain excellent product display and store presentation standards.
  • Replenish shelves and ensure stock availability in line with merchandising guidelines.
  • Support outlet manager in daily stock counts and reporting of low-stock or fast-moving items.
  • Ensure accurate handling of cash, POS transactions, and customer receipts.
  • Adhere strictly to company SOPs regarding customer service, sales, and store hygiene.

Brand Representation & Communication:

  • Represent Montaigne Limited with grace, confidence, and professionalism.
  • Uphold the company’s luxury image through personal grooming, communication, and customer interaction.
  • Provide feedback to management on customer trends, preferences, and product demand.
  • Participate in promotional activities, product launches, and marketing campaigns.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achievement of individual and outlet sales targets.
  • Level of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Accuracy of sales transactions and reporting.
  • Product knowledge and demonstration competence.
  • Compliance with grooming, service, and brand standards.

Minimum Education Qualification

  • Minimum of OND / HND / B.Sc. in any discipline (Marketing, Business, or related fields preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in luxury retail, cosmetics, fashion, beauty, or other premium customer service environments.
  • Previous experience as a Sales Associate, Beauty Advisor, or Customer Service Representative will be an added advantage.

Required Competencies:
Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of luxury service culture and customer engagement.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques, customer handling, and product presentation.
  • Familiarity with beauty, cosmetics, or fashion products preferred.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong sales drive and persuasive ability.
  • Attention to detail and confidence in product demonstration.
  • Basic knowledge of POS systems and Microsoft Office tools.

Work Schedule

  • Days: Monday – Sunday (with one scheduled off-day weekly).
  • Time: Standard retail hours (as assigned by the outlet manager).
