We are looking for energetic and self-driven Sales Representatives to join our distribution team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for driving product sales through direct van selling or engaging market customers within assigned territories. They must be passionate about meeting sales targets, maintaining strong customer relationships, and increasing brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities
For Van Sales:
Drive the company’s sales van to designated routes or outlets. Load, deliver, and sell products directly from the van to retailers, supermarkets, and kiosks. Ensure proper stock rotation and return of unsold/damaged goods. Collect payments and reconcile daily sales records. Maintain the condition and cleanliness of the sales van. Build and maintain relationships with existing and new customers on the route. Submit accurate daily reports of sales, payments, and stock balances.
For Market Sales:
Visit open markets, shops, and distributors to promote and sell products. Prospect for new clients and grow customer base in the assigned area. Monitor competitors’ activities and market trends. Follow up with customers on orders, deliveries, and feedback. Work closely with the warehouse and logistics team to ensure timely delivery. Achieve daily/weekly/monthly sales targets.
Requirements
Minimum of OND / NCE; SSCE holders with relevant experience may also apply. Proven experience in van or field sales, preferably in FMCG. Valid driver’s license and good driving skills (for van sales). Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must be physically fit and honest. Basic numeric and record-keeping ability. Familiarity with sales routes, market territories, and local customers is a plus. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Must reside in Calabar.
